Your Conversations Are 100% Private
All your chats with your A!Kat are completely private and secure. We don't record, monitor, or share your conversations with anyone.

New Ways to Interact in 5.0

  • Text Streaming: You can now see your A!Kat's responses generate in real-time, word by word.
  • Voice Input: Prefer to speak your prompts? A new microphone icon is available next to the chat input. Click it to dictate your prompt using your voice!
  • Copy & Export: A new Copy to Clipboard button appears with every response, letting you quickly grab the text. You can also export entire chat histories to a .txt file from the A!Kat Library.

User Dashboard: Your Personal Hub

Located near the top of the sidebar, the User Dashboard is your personalized space.

  • Avatar: Change your avatar by clicking the "Change Avatar" button. If no avatar is set, a file uploader will appear for you to select a new image.
  • Username: Your current username is displayed here. Simply click on it and type to change it.
  • Current Kroma: Both your and your A!Kats current Kroma are displayed here.

A!Kat Alive!: Real-Time Voice Chat & Visual Interaction!

A!Kat Alive! lets you chat with your A!Kat in real-time using voice. In version 5.0, it's more powerful than ever.

Setup

  • Choose Your View: Select Camera, Screen, or Disabled for visual input.
  • VAD Sensitivity: Toggle between High (for quieter rooms) and Low (for noisier rooms) microphone sensitivity.
  • Activate: Click the "Mic On" toggle to go live!

What's New in 5.0

  • Google Search Integration: Your A!Kat can now perform live Google searches during an A!Kat Alive! session to answer questions about current events or look up information in real-time.

Remember This!: Your A!Kat's Long-Term Memory

Use the "Memory Manager" in the Settings Tab to teach your A!Kat important details, project notes, or preferences that they'll remember across all your chats. You can add, edit, and delete memories to keep your A!Kat's knowledge base up-to-date.

A!Kat Recall: Search Your Chat History!

Found in the Main Tab of the sidebar, A!Kat Recall lets you instantly search the entire content of your past conversations. Just type a keyword, see the results, and click "Load Chat" to jump right back into a past discussion.

A!Kat Libraries: Your Central Hub for Chats & Prompts!

The A!Kat Library is your all-in-one command center for managing conversations and prompts.

  • Sidebar Quick Actions: Quickly rename the current chat, load or delete past chats, or start a new one from the dropdown menu.
  • Saved Prompts: Save your last user prompt with a single click, and reuse any saved prompt by clicking its button.
  • Full Library Interface: Click "Enter Library" to access a full-screen page where you can organize chats into folders and manage your saved prompts in detail.

VibeSync: Bringing Your A!Kat's Avatar to Life!

VibeSync automatically analyzes your A!Kat's messages and plays a corresponding video animation to match the mood.

New in 5.0: You can now enable optional audio for some VibeSync videos for an even more immersive experience! Find this toggle in the Settings Tab.

A!Kat Connect: Your Link to the Live Web!

A!Kat Connect uses Google Search to fetch real-time information, ensuring your A!Kat's knowledge is never out of date.

  • New in 5.0: When grounded search is used, responses will now include citations, so you can see the web sources for the information provided.

A!Kat File Analysis: Explore Any Content Together!

In the File Analysis Tab, you can upload images, videos, audio, PDFs, and code. After uploading, provide a prompt or use the contextual action buttons that appear above the chat input to analyze the content.

Theme Center: Presets & Custom Styling!

The Theme Center, found in the Settings Tab, has been completely overhauled for A!Kat 5.0.

  • Theme Presets: Instantly change your entire UI by selecting from over 30 professionally designed presets that control colors, fonts, and corner roundness.
  • Custom Theme Saving: Created a look you love using the color pickers and font selectors? Now you can save your creation as a custom theme with its own name! Your saved themes will appear in the preset dropdown for easy access.

A!Kat Pro: Unleash Advanced AI Power!

Activate A!Kat Pro mode in the Settings Tab to switch to the most advanced AI model (Gemini 2.5 Pro) for tasks that require superior performance, nuance, and creativity.

Insight Engine: Deeper Thinking for Complex Problems!

For especially tricky questions, activate the Insight Engine in the Settings Tab. This allows your A!Kat to use extra "thinking" steps and a larger token budget to formulate more thorough and reasoned answers for complex analytical tasks.

Enable Voice Output in the Settings Tab to have your A!Kat's responses spoken aloud with an ultra-realistic AI voice.

MagiKat lets you generate high-quality images directly in the chat.

The A!Kat Arcade: Game On!

New in A!Kat 5.0, the A!Kat Arcade is a central hub for playing interactive games with your A!Kat! Access it from the Main Tab in the sidebar. Inside, you can select and launch a game from a visual menu of arcade cabinets.

Launch Titles Include:

  • Shiny Hold'em: A space-western-themed take on Texas Hold'em where special "Shiny" cards can be any suit.
  • Stellar Siege: The classic naval combat game we all know and love, re-imagined with a sci-fi theme.
  • Nexus Link: Earn Kroma in this classic word-guessing game.

Kroma & Milestones: Earn & Play!

A!Kat 5.0 introduces Kroma, the official currency of the A!Kat ecosystem.

How to Earn: You and your A!Kat earn Kroma separately by completing Milestones—special achievements unlocked by using A!Kat features, such as analyzing a certain number of files or winning games.

How to Spend: Kroma is used to play games in the A!Kat Arcade, with more uses planned for the future!

Your Kroma balance is displayed in the User Dashboard at the top of the sidebar.

Session Stats: Track Your Usage & Costs

The Session Stats panel, found in the User Dashboard, gives you a real-time breakdown of your current session's API usage. It tracks input/output tokens and estimated costs for text chat, MagiKat image generation, and A!Kat Voices.

Reset & Maintenance Options

In the More Tab, you'll find options to Factory Reset your user-added memories or Reset your API Key if you need to update your credentials.
